মণিরাজ ঘোষ, পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর, ১৮ নভেম্বর: জাতীয় কৃষি উন্নয়ন মূলক ব্যাঙ্ক ‘নবার্ড’ (National Bank for Agricultural and Rural Development) এবং ‘ডালমিয়া ভারত’ (Dalmia Bharat) এর যৌথ উদ্যোগে, পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলার শালবনী ব্লকের গোদাপিয়াসালে অবস্থিত সুপ্রাচীন গ্রামীণ হাট (Rural Haat) টির আধুনিকীকরণ এবং সংস্কার করা হল। বৃহস্পতিবার নবরূপে এই ‘গোদাপিয়াসাল গ্রামীণ হাট’ এর উদ্বোধন হল। উপস্থিত ছিলেন, নবার্ডের চিফ জেনারেল ম্যানেজার ডঃ এ.আর খান, ডালমিয়া ভারতের CSR বিভাগের প্রধান বিশাল ভরদ্বাজ, ডালমিয়া ভারতের বেঙ্গল ইউনিটের প্রধান অম্বুজ শ্রীবাস্তব, আ্যাসি. জেনারেল ম্যানেজার কপিল মুনি পান্ডে, কমার্সিয়াল হেড প্রেমাশিস মিশ্র প্রমুখ। এই গ্রামীণ হাটে ৬ টি নতুন শেড, স্টোর রুম, সাবমার্সিবল সহ পানীয় জলের সুব্যবস্থা এবং শৌচাগার নির্মিত হয়েছে। খুব দ্রুত এই হাটে সোলার লাইটেরও ব্যবস্থা করা হবে বলেও জানানো হয়েছে ডালমিয়া ভারতের পক্ষ থেকে।
‘নবার্ড’ ব্যাঙ্কের ডঃ এ.আর খান বলেন, “গ্রামীণ উন্নয়নে এবং কৃষকদের সাহায্য করতে দেশ জুড়ে নবার্ড এই ধরনের কাজ করে চলেছে গত কয়েক দশক ধরে। শালবনীর এই প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলে, ডালমিয়া ভারত কর্তৃপক্ষের সহায়তায় এই গ্রামীণ হাটের আধুনিকীকরণ করা হল কৃষকদের স্বার্থে।” ডালমিয়া ভারতের পক্ষ থেকে অম্বুজ শ্রীবাস্তব জানিয়েছেন, “সাধারণ মানুষের স্বার্থে, ডালমিয়া ভারত নানা উন্নয়নমূলক কর্মকান্ড চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে এবং আগামীদিনেও চালিয়ে যাবে।” এই গ্রামীণ হাটের আধুনিকীকরণে ২৩ লক্ষ টাকা খরচ হয়েছে বলে তিনি জানিয়েছেন। এদিনের উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন, স্থানীয় কর্ণগড় পঞ্চায়েত সমিতির প্রধান প্রতাপ জাশু এবং এই গ্রামীণ হাট পরিচালন সমিতির সভাপতি ও সম্পাদক যথাক্রমে মঙ্গল ব্যানার্জি ও সুপ্রিয় হাজরা। নবার্ড এবং ডালমিয়া ভারতের এই উদ্যোগকে স্বাগত জানিয়ে, সুপ্রিয় বাবু জানিয়েছেন, আগামীদিনে এই হাটের রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ যাতে সঠিকভাবে হয়, তা তাঁরা খেয়াল রাখবেন।

General Manager Kapil Muni Pandey, Commercial Head Premashis Mishra etc. In this rural market 6 new sheds, store rooms, drinking water facilities including submersibles and toilets have been constructed. Dalmia Bharat has also said that solar lights will be installed at the market very soon. Dr. AR Khan of NABARD Bank said, “NABARD has been doing this kind of work across the country for the last few decades to help rural development and farmers. In remote areas, the modernization of this rural market with the help of Dalmia Bharat authorities is in the interest of the farmers. ” On behalf of Dalmia Bharat, Ambuj Srivastava said, “In the interest of the common man, Dalmia India is carrying out various developmental activities and will continue to do so in the future.” He said that Rs 23 lakh has been spent for the modernization of this rural market. The inaugural function was attended by Pratap Jashu, head of the local Karnagar Panchayat Samiti, and Mangal Banerjee and Supriya Hazra, president and secretary of the Grameen Hat Sanchalan Samiti, respectively. Welcoming the initiative of NABARD and Dalmia Bharat, Supriya Babu said that they would take care of proper maintenance of the market in future.
